POA is a unique GPO in that we have purchasing agreements in place with more than one of the major pharmaceutical wholesalers. We have relationships with many secondary sources including API, IPC, Anda, and Parmed. Choices of PSAOs are available to our membership. POA offers unbiased advice on programs and services but the final decisions ultimately rest with each member from start-ups to multi-store chains. We have dozens of distinct services and programs enabling our members to improve all facets of their business.

Many of our approved vendors come to POA through our affiliation with Federation of Pharmacy Networks (FPN). FPN is an independent pharmacy cooperative owned and operated by the country's leading independent Group Purchasing Organizations. POA recently attended FPN’s annual meeting. Our members have options and are not contracted to any one particular wholesaler. POA also offers many other programs and services to improve profit margins and help thrive in our business environment. The majority of our vendor partners offer discounts and/or rebates to our members who participate in their programs.
